Tim Russell Memorial run - 2011

Time: 9:00 AM for the 5k Run, 10:00 AM for the 1 Mile Fun Run

Award Ceremony: Immediately following One Mile Fun Run

Registration: Pre-Race Registration for 5K & 1 Mile:
Pre-race registration deadline is August 18, 2011.
$15.00 for 5K run.
$8.00 for 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk.

Pre-Registration Packet Pick-up & Race Registration:
Friday, August 26: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Saturday, August 27: 7:00 am to 8:40 am.

Milton Hershey School – Ice Hockey Rink.
Immediately adjacent to Parking Lots C & D.

Course: Milton Hershey School

Split times will be provided at 1 mile and 2 mile marks with water near the midpoint. Water and fruit will be provided at the finish line area.

Showers and lockers are not available.    

Directions: From Hershey High School, continue on Rte. 322 East (Governor Rd.) to signal  light at Meadow Lane.  Turn right onto Meadow Lane.  Continue to Brooke Lane and turn right following signs to Athletic Center.  Use Parking Lots “C” or “D”.  Ice Hockey Rink is adjacent to parking lots.

Awards: No cash awards or prizes will be given away until the awards ceremony. Awards ceremony will begin at the conclusion of the Fun Run/Walk. Shirts guaranteed to all pre-registrants.

5,000-Meter Run: $200 for first place, $150 for second place, $100 for third place, $75 for fourth place, $50 for fifth place, for both male and female participants. $50 will be awarded to Master's winners. No duplicates. Prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age category and many random prizes will be awarded.

Fun Run/Walk: Awards to top finishers, male and female for age groups listed. No awards for participants over 12 years of age.
